La Sanse is a lively festival celebrated every third weekend of January in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, a tradition dating back to the 1950s. Also known as the San Sebastián Street Festival (Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián), it marks the unofficial close of Puerto Rico’s holiday season and attracts more than 200,000 visitors each year. Over the decades, La Sanse has grown into a major cultural event, admired worldwide for its energy, traditions, and strong sense of community. The celebration has since expanded beyond Puerto Rico, reaching parts of Florida and Texas in the 2010s. Nashua, NH, now become the first location to host La Sanse in the Northeast.
 
La Sanse Nashua will feature live music, authentic Latin cuisine, and dynamic visual art. The acclaimed 12-piece salsa band El Grupo Chevere will headline the evening, joined by talented local Latin artists. Guests can also enjoy flavorful dishes from local restaurants and experience a special performance by a local dance group. La Sanse will shine a spotlight on the cultural roots and traditions of Nashua’s Latin community.
